Hi Bradford, No, Eloquence does not block the mike. If sound recorder is recording Jaws, then you probably have, " what you hear", checked in the volume control. That is, if you have a SoundBlaster soundcard. If you have another brand of soundcard, the same control may have a different name, such as, "stereo mixer". Hello, Does Eloquence block the mic input on a soundcard. When I test my mic, I can't hear anything, but when I run Sound Recorder, it's picking up Jaws. Am I "mis-wired"? or what?
