Kevin, make sure both occurrences of Use Directly are checked in settings. For the moment, make sure you aren't using the Accelerated recording function under Recording Source and Perameters. If your screen reader conflicts aren't solved by this, and you're using JAWS, I or the folks at High Criteria can send you a .reg file which in my case solved the problems.
