Hi Brent, Unfortunately, either method may not work on every system. I haven't used the method of editing the jfw.ini file, so I can't really comment on it. I can tell you that I have had success with the following audio applications with 2 soundblaster cards: WinAmp, GoldWave, and RecAllPro I have used other apps in this configuration, but I don't have all of them installed at this time, so I can't tell you which ones they are for sure. Any audio software that allows a choice of output devices to be selected, should work fine with 2 soundcards. You should be able to do this with on-board audio as well, but I haven't had the chance to test this yet. I tried the edit to jfw.ini and it makes jaws extremely sluggish for some reason. Or is that the way that motherboard card is when a second card is in use at the same time? Some other apps require the default card also and couldn't be switched. I wonder why FS doesn't add a feature to do it properly. ----- Original Message ----- From: "R Q J" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list.
