Ripping to MP3 is definitely free in WMP. There's also no Pro version of 
WMP that I'm aware of. Are you thinking of Winamp? Ripping to MP3 is 
free in Winamp, but you do have to purchase the Pro version to get 
increased speeds when ripping.
