I don't know if this will solve your problem or not, but you could try 
Revo Uninstaller from http://www.revouninstaller.com/. When you bring it 
up, it should list all of the applications on your PC. Use the JAWS 
cursor to click "Hunter Mode" in the tools bar on the top of the screen 
and then do a right mouse click on CDEX. Select Uninstall and it'll run 
the CDEX uninstaller and then ask you if you want it to search for and 
remove all occurrences of CDEX on your hard drive and in your registry. 
Like I said, I'm not sure if it'll fix this particular problem, but it 
may be worth a try.
