Hi. It is hard to give step by step instructions as I don't know what versions of WMP you and your friend have. I have WMP11 and that is different from the 8 and then the 10 I had. Generally though once you go to the rip tab there will be a button labeled file name. If you press the space bar on this then use your arrow keys and tab key you will find options as to how much information you want in your file name including the option for none. You can choose to have a track number, the album title, the artist, the track name and much more. In the case of none all you will get from a rip is track 1, track 2, track 3 etc. Just explore and you will see what I mean. Once you have done what you want, remember to tab to OK to save the changes. Walter.
