Sorry about the delay in answering your question.  You would use the f3
and f4 commands to mark where you want to make cuts.  You mark the
beginning of where you want to cut, then use your navigation commands to
go forward to the end of where you want to cut, and press f4, then delete.
You can, btw, decide which commands you wish to use for navigating
through the video under the navigation tab in the prefferences under
tools.  For instance, You can move one minute at a time with
control+right or left arrow, every ten seconds with shift+ctrl+right or
left arrow, and so forth.

I believe I have the latest version of Video Redo. I find it still
accessible, although I do not use the ad detection feature, since I find
it's more accurate for me to just do the commercial cuts manually.
