Just curious about this problem.Have you checked in the Program files to see if Windows Media Player is in there? If so, open the file and find the .exe file, press the applications key, down arrow to make shortcut,click on that and it should put it on desktop. Then click on that shortcut and see what happens.
If not in Program Files...gl. Hope this thought you already know about and have tried. HTH Morey
