Is it possible to use an SB Audigy ZS 2 soundcard in a windows 7 64 bit machine?
When I had the card installed and booted up the computer, I got an error message saying that windows was unable to install device drivers for the device. I then went to the creative support site and downloaded a driver package which I installed; however, when I rebooted after the installation I received a message saying that the drivers could not be loaded for the soundcard. According to the Creative web site the software I downloaded was supposed to work on Windows 7 64 bit. I've since uninstalled the drivers and now when I try reinstalling them I receive an error message stating that I have previously installed drivers for this device and to reboot and try again; but, of course, it doesn't work. I would appreciate any suggestions or answers anyone might have. Thanks. Dan
