I have the 1002FX for more complicated things but use the little UB302 for use with Skype.
Accessibility is not really an issue. The mixer is straightforward in layout and simple to use. It is not hampered by the procedures and terminology springing from the recording and broadcasting industries of the 1970s. The only control which you may find odd is the FX control. The rotary knob "clicks" as it moves from effect to effect and the effect is activated by pushing the knob in. Are you sure that you need the 1202FX? Although, given the prices these days, It probably doesn't hurt to indulge in some future proofing.
