Ah, I do have the Chromecast but I wasn't aware that it would - by defaults - accept DLNA streams? I'll give that a go.

Emne: Streaming DLNA content to a television

Hi!
Does anyone know of a dongle or similar that will plug into a HDMI port of a
Television and accept DLNA streaming?
I know I could get this sort of functionality from a Set Top Box but what to
keep the whole process simple, straight forward and to the point.
I’m hoping that I can use either an Android or IOS device to control where the
streaming started from and where the content is streamed to - to this dongle
for example - and I have a few Apps in mind that will do this sort of thing
with IOS, Arms Media Player is such one example.
Anyone any thoughts?
