An A-AUI connector essentially an AUI connector, particularized for Apple's machines, requiring less power than a standard AUI connector, and requiring less backpanel space than a standard AUI DB-15 connector. The same connector works on every Ethernet-equipped Apple LaserWriter I have personally seen.
