Category: externals Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Roman Haefeli (reduzent) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: [ext13/wavinfo]: returns often wrong data Initial Comment: Many files, that seem compliant with the RIFF WAVE format and also can be played back by a various of players and are read fine by Pd's [readsf~], give strange values with [wavinfo]. I couldn't verify this claim by reading the code, but from having tried some files i could find, it seems, that only files with a header of the usual 44 bytes are read correctly, but not files with a bigger header size. Please contact me off-list, if you need an example file. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Roman Haefeli (reduzent) Date: 2009-12-06 18:44 Message: It seems, that [wavinfo] shows correct data as long as the header signature is 'fmt '. It seems, that Broadcast Wave files aren't read correctly ('bext' header signature). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=478070&aid=2909692&group_id=55736 _______________________________________________ Pd-dev mailing list Pd-dev@iem.at http://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-dev
