Just for the archive and hopefully for others like me, strugling with
their first externals.
I have written a small tutorial about how to compile an external with
Dev-C++. I don't go into the programming itself, since there is a very
good tutorial on http://iem.at/pd/externals-HOWTO/ about that. Compiler
options and code to export the setup function are not covered there,
however. So that's why I put this on my website, at
