Hey Could it be there is something wrong with the implementation of [midiout]? I am using ubuntu linux, with 0.40-3 extended. I have input from [cyclone/seq] which prints out fine, but the [midiout] object does not seem to react on this. I use alsa-midi, btw. With a 4 port output device. I have made midi files for each separate port, since midiout does seem to expect that, but that did not help one bit.
