Woa Peter, That was a long time ago. I had dual 8" floppies on my home brew computer. The data rate is twice that of the 5 1/4". Give me a proto board, a WD 1791, a handful of manuals (actually, I think it could be easier to implement through the parallel port) ..... NO, don't get me going on that stuff again!!
