I picked up this magazine today (it's printed in the UK; not a jab, just clarifying which magazine) and, after reading two articles; a review of the *ist-D and a review of the Canon 300D; and skimming the rest, have come up with one conclusion.
They need to hire a proof-reader! Sheesh! they make comments that such and such camera doesn't show enough detail, when they can't even print the name of a lens correctly. In one small side-bar they go on and on about the best portrait lens and keep referring to it as a 28-135 when in fact they really mean -and show a picture of- a 28-105. They mislabeled the rear-view of an ist-D (labeling the 4-way controller as the Av wheel); In the buyer's guide section they show the ist-D but label its ratings as "Nikon D1-H" (clearly the rating are for the ist-D as the D1-H rating (labeled properly) are different). There were numerous misspellings throughout the articles I read and their step-by-step section included the same images for two different processes! The list of mistakes is endless. Camera manufacturers might not have the best quality control on the planet but for a magazine with all these errors to point that out is ludicrous. Christian Skofteland [EMAIL PROTECTED]
