Ann, The status monitor should tell you if you're low on yellow. If you were out, it wouldn't let you print. That I discovered the hard way. When I have stubborn clogs, I run the procedure described on this page: http://www.inksupply.com/index.cfm?source=html/purging.html Give that a try. When I began covering my 820 between prints, all my problems went away. Good luck, Mark
