I wonder the same about the switches, but they seem to be very solid.  I 
also thought about the question of using it with gloves, since the Pz-1p is 
really good in that regard.  I think it would be difficult to operate the 
exposure compensation dial with gloves on.  Most of the other controls 
would be feasible.

I'm glad Jan posted that scan - I can't seem to get a scan of the sprocket 
area.

After shooting with the LX for a while, using the aperture ring has gotten 
intuitive.  It's just inconvenient with A lenses, since you lose the 
ability to see the Aperture setting in the finder.

Disappointment for me too.

The flash emits a sustained burst of light - or more like a series of 
little flashes - for a half second or so.  Lights up the area covered by 
the flash.  I much prefer the light red bars the Pz-1p emits.

The more I think about this, the more I see the lack of flash compensation 
to be a significant omission.  I'm sure there is a work around (shoot in 
manual with compensation set as desired?) but it's an important feature 
that is missing.

Still and all, I'm very much enjoying using this camera!
