1) It's an excellent photograph.

2) While there are other ways to push the tonality around, overall I  
think you hit a good balance. It's a high-detail shot that would work  
better rendered to a large print, at which point the tonalities you  
go for in areas that are too small to see clearly here might change  
how you set the adjustments.

3) This is one of those cases where "What you are saying" is  
perfectly obvious and the title seems kind of a distraction to me.

4) I'm not very good at being brutal... ];-)
