Very nice subject & composition although I agree with Paul - it does have an extra "crispy look to it.
FWIW I have a used Gitzo 1410 tripod for sale, that I've used with my 600mm FA - it'll handle all the 35 mm stuff you can put on it & medium/large format gear to boot.
