My results from three lenses:

FA*24/2:
No vignetting with square filters if the holder is placed so that the
filters slide in horizontally. Vignetting down to f/5.6 (ca) if holder
placed so that filters slide in vertically (as you would have it if
you use grads), and when using pola.

A-24/2.8:
Same as for the FA*, but less pronounced. Pola filter acceptable,
IIRC. I sold this lens a couple of years ago.

FA-20/2.8
With square filters, slight vignetting even if holder placed so that
filters slide in horizontally. Notable vignetting with pola filter
even at f/8.

You should also consider that even though Cokin provides adapter rings
for lenses up to 82mm, the physical opening in the holder (through
which light can reach the lens), is only 75mm!
