My condolences on the loss of your beloved pet and companion. I lost my
Dalmatian, Odin, a year ago. My granddaughters, ages 4 & 5, occasionally
offer prayer for him at the supper table to this day asking God to pet him
and play with him. I still remember catching them painting multi-colored
spots on him because they thought he would like colored ones, not just the
black ones. Odin loved it - the attention, that is. Fortunately, they were
water colors.

Odin developed a disk problem between his shoulders which caused him extreme
pain and that eventually paralyzed him. I cried when I took him to the Vet
to have him put down. Odin licked my tears - trying to make me feel better,
I suppose. He did that sort of thing.

I know how you feel. I never want to go through that again.

Regards,
Bob...
