Yes, there's a remote assistant. You need 1.2 firmware or later. I've  
used it. It's great compared to the old D version. Mainly because the  
write speed is so much faster. I use it when I shoot with an art  
director. Keeps them entertained :-). My studio is directly adjacent  
to my desktop cp,[iter, so I can cable USB from a powered hub to the  
camera and display it on my 21" monitor.
