I didn't take many shots of my Mom's face, as she was sort of a poor model. Too self conscious. Also I wanted natural light and the backgrounds in the living room were distracting. But about two years ago, after I showed some hand shots, someone asked for face shot.
So I briefly showed this one. Originally I lightened shadows. This time, I did not. I like this rendering better, I feel it makes for a stronger shot.
