I was in Soda Springs, CA (near Lake Tahoe) at a friend of mine's (he's telecommuting from the mountains, lucky bastard--in the winter he goes out to ski during his lunch break)
Got to see just two or three small streaks close to midnight. Stayed up until about 1:30, but it was partly cloudy and couldn't see much. Then set the alarm for 4 hours, got up 5:30 or so, decided it was conveniently cloudy, and got back to sleep :-) I did shoot a few frames of the stars with the ZX-5N and K24/3.5, maybe I got one meteor or two. j -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Juan J.
