Glad to see you are enjoying the lens. Paired well with the Zx-5n. For me, the FOV was better on 35mm than APS-C because it isn't wide enough at the short end.
If you think that the build is plasticky, it's pretty much the same as the FA 28-105/3.2-4.5. They are roughly the same length when fully extended (and slightly wobbly), with the 24-90 being just a bit larger in circumference. Have a nice weekend.
