OK. So, after thinking a lot, and more importantly, after going out to shoot with the 6D and a nice Zeiss 35mm lens, I've decided to stay with Pentax.
I got some really nice frames from the 6D. The shallower depth of field is really noticeable to me. But the camera is bulky, heavy, and so are the lenses. I can see myself buying this camera and then leaving it at home while I go shoot with the Leica. I'll keep waiting for a full frame Pentax MX. I know the technology is there... I'd be happy with a full frame 10MP camera, MX-sized, similar viewfinder. Hey, make it all manual and drop the LCD screen, even, I don't care, as long as mi DNGs are on the SD card when I come back home. Or course, that's a pipe dream. In the meantime, the K3 will be a really nice thing to shoot with. I'll put a Katz Eye screen on it and my viewfinder magnifier. Now my decision is: do I get the 20-40 with it, or, since it's just a little bit more money, the 31/1.8, which seems like the ideal normal lens for these cameras? j On Sat, Dec 28, 2013 at 10:01 PM, John <johnsess...@yahoo.com> wrote: > I was saving up for a full-frame Pentax.
