Have visited Colorado's Maroon Bells about half a dozen times.  Never did get 
the perfect sky or mist over
Maroon Lake.
Located about a thousand feet above the town of Aspen, the lake itself is about 
9,600 ft and Maroon Peak (don't
know which one) slightly over 14,000 ft.
Always many photogs. Most, completely congenial and considerate. Always a 
couple space hogs who may move into
your viewfinder at any time. They could use a photo space cop on a clear fall 
weekend.
