HC-110 gives similar results. I haven't developed B&W film in a few years but I have a couple of quarts of HC-110, it has a shelf life of pretty much infinity, and if it was good enough for Ansel Adams, it's damn well good enough for me...

Mark - have you ever tried TRi-x developed in Microdol X- 1:3 at 75 degrees F? - I read about that back in the late 70's
and once I tried it Ikept it- it was a nice grain reducer ..

Not a gruesome bug - I'm tired of digital machinations... so a film shot. Mz-S, Tri-X, FA 20-35 with XI green filter. Developed in HC110 Dil B.
