Unbeknownst to me at the time the sky behind me was quite dark. The winds were starting to whip up (see the ripples on the water) and a few very large drops were starting to fall. But the sky in front of me was bright, hence the bright water.
I thought after posting that the title wasn't the best but I'm too lazy to change it now. Thanks for the nice words, Rick!
