Took a break and sat outside at noon today. This guy was too distant — the pic is only about 30% of frame — so it’s nothing special. But it’s a nice example of lens performance. K-3 DFA 150-450, f5.6, 1/1250th, ISO 1250, handheld, 450mm. I like the way this combination locks in focus, but at this distance, about 70 feet I’d guess, finding the critter in the tree is a chore. But once I get a single point on him, it’ll lock right in.
