I think that this is the pulse jet powered go kart that I got to drive
once, not quite 30 years ago:

When I was turning it around at the end of the run, the rear brakes
locked up rather than just a U-turn, I can reasonably claim to have done
donuts in a jet powered go kart. That was fun.
