Still can't make out the lurking Kraken. Only joking, Rick! Good for a tourist brochure now. I have the 100-300 & see that it is rated about the same as the 80-320 in the Pentax Lens Review Database. Well, I upgraded to the HD 55-300 but actually find it no better in spite of it's glowing review. I wonder about some of those reviews. The same goes for my 28-80 which is far better than the reviews would suggest.

Not a lot else to try without having the boat exiting the frame, or having things look fuzzy (80-320 at 200mm and 1/60, and I'm not Steady Stenquist!).

Comments appreciated.
