I was 1,950 miles from home, visiting the ancient Taos Pueblo, one of the oldest continuously inhabited communities in the US. To my great surprise, among the hand full of dogs hanging out there, I spotted an Alaskan Malamute. Of course, he struck a typical Malamute pose, one I get to see every day at home:
