I agree with your assessment, John. The remote server which is using the RBL blacklist appears to be cloud6.emwd.com, run by Emerging Markets Web Design LLC., and I assume that the pdml list handling is hosted there.
Those RBL things are a very stupid blunt instrument. Better anti-spam systems either don't use them at all or at worst use their input to influence the spam determination a small amount. Have you reported this issue to Earthlink? Their admins should be soliciting that RBL host to take their servers off the list. Earthlink may not be aware they are on the list.
