You really can't judge the situation on ONE day - not really a show. Concentrate on a tight theme, matt a few and take those around . If you get a palce to display them, or a show at a real gallery, you'll be framing them too... but they are more likely to sell.

Even though some are to friends, they wouldn't buy something without liking the shot they bought -

 In one day, I'd say you should consider it something of a success.
