Hard to remember, but as big as a small Redwood, 5-8 feet around. Although, looking at it, it is a pine. I am very fond of pines too. It looks like two trunks to me, with a part that may have been burned out and then grown over. I.E. after that it split into two trunks. I know I picked it because it was unusual. Some pines (or firs) can get pretty darn big too.

Marnie  I suspect I took it near Crescent City California.
