Right now, a couple of weeks after the Autumn Equinox, I can almost catch up 
with Larry's view because of the shorter daylength up here. My advantage in 
daylength grows towards Winter Solstice, but Earth's inclination brings the 
most interesting parts further below the horizon too, so it gets less 
interesting for both of us.
In summertime, Larry has all the advantages, both the better view of the galaxy 
that comes with the season, and the darker skies that comes with the latitude.
