By coincidence, my almost identical 3rd-party adapter arrived a couple
of weeks ago but I haven't tested it yet. I ordered it to use with my
K-3 as a streaming video source. But since I discovered that Pentax
cameras can't be made to output a clean video signal I put that idea
aside in favour of a small security camera instead.

I'm glad to hear that it hasn't fried your gear, Toine! :-)  I intend
to use it for some tabletop macro work later on.

I agree about the original Pentax adapter. The big US retailers list
it as always out-of-stock and damned expensive for what it is anyway.
