I've never seen the Pajama Game, but I do remember
a song from Pins and Needles called "It's Better
With a Union Man" that starts with:

I'll tell you the story of Bertha,
who worked at the Sears pants machine

The song goes on to note a "non-union man with a leer"
who hits on Bertha.

Now I'll have to rent the Pajama Game to find
out if there's anything to this.  Thanks for the
tip.
