Lewis and Clark College invites applicants for a full-time, Assistant Professor, tenure-track position in Economics beginning September 1, 1997. In addition to macroeconomic theory, the department is seeking a macroeconomist with primary interests in at least one of the following areas: money and banking, public finance, urban and regional economics, open economy macroeconomics, economic history, or industrial organization. Initial teaching responsibilities, in addition to classes in one more of the above areas, will include principles of economics and participation in the College's first year general education course. The successful candidate must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship. Applicants should have the Doctoral degree by September 1997.
