don't forget "volunteerism", an ideology denying that social problems 
are structural and related to the capitalist system...as Klingon told 
us at his "Summit for America Future's" in Philly a few years ago: 
children abandoned by federal cutbacks face "problems of the heart" 
that "can only be resolved when there is one to one connection"...in 
other words, "humn contact" - voluntary involvement - can solve the 
myriad problems facing the poor and reduce class inequalities and 
socio-economic polarization at the same time...Michael Hoover
