The Labour and Workplace Studies Program, Faculty of Arts, at the University of Manitoba invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment in Labour and Workplace Studies at the rank of Assistant Professor. Core fields: Labour Institutions and Problems, Political Economy of Labour, and Industrial Relations. Specialization in one of the following: Industrial Relations, including Unions and Unionization / Collective Bargaining; Political Economy of Labour and Labour Market Analysis; Labour Process and Organization of Work; Gender, Race and Ethnicity of Work; Globalization and Work. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. by the time of appointment and have demonstrated success in both research and teaching.
