Prashad, Vijay. The Darker Nations: A People's History of the Third World (New York: New Press).
He tells the story of the Third World, first from the perspective of their efforts to create organizations to develop collectively, such as the nonaligned movement, and also to describe the failures (and occasional successes) of these individual countries. At the same time, he provides information about individual radical leaders, as well as the literature of these societies. I found it to be a remarkable work. -- Michael Perelman Economics Department California State University Chico, CA 95929 Tel. 530-898-5321 E-Mail michael at ecst.csuchico.edu michaelperelman.wordpress.com
