Here's a quick summary of what was said on irc during this week's status meeting
for the Perl QA Hackathon 2012.
Progress:
- the web site is live, DNS changes were fully propagated shortly after
the meeting
- BooK and Laurent will start emailing the French sponsors soon after
the web site is live
- Laurent has emailed the hotel, requesting a quote for rooms for
30 people
- the French Perl Mongers should sponsor 1000 EUR to the hackathon
- mdk announced he already had a LPW sponsor interested
- mdk will also email EPO members about sponsoring the hackathon again
- BooK, remembering the pain he went through when refunding US attendees,
asked about TPF sponsoring some of the US attendees' travel costs.
mdk will approach Dan/Karen with a request
- the web site is live, so several people already registered
