In case anyone else wants to do this you're too late.
I had to remove the encoded text from the messages because
they were screwing up the glimpse search indexing process.
Normally though, when an attachment is not multi-part, the
archive will automatically decode and save the attachment
so it can be downloaded from the web via a link in the message.
