We use the Voyager ILS but we do not use their default perl installation. We have always used an "external" perl installation maintained by our computer center sysadmins and located in /usr/local.
I have asked the sysadmin to install an additional perl module. She tells me that for various reasons she must upgrade perl to the current version on cpan in order to do so. Have any of you Voyager libraries had any experience with using perl versions about 5.8.8 with Voyager? If yes, does it cause any problems? I believe the current version on cpan is 5.14.1.
