One of the usual ways to fix test errors under Win32 is to route around it (i.e. skip for that platform). :~( That being said, I am also seeing the taint and fork failures under Win32 (CygWin actually), but only within the last week or so. I think these are things that can be/should be fixed rather than skipped.
