This is a build failure report for perl from [EMAIL PROTECTED],
generated with the help of perlbug 1.35 running under perl v5.8.7.

In addition to the locale problem

lib/locale................................FAILED at test 99

a couple of other problems popped up on my 2x2 G5 (Tiger 10.4.1) which
didn't show up in RC1:

lib/ExtUtils/t/Constant...................[address=40000014 pc=0000e470]

with preprocessed source if appropriate.

ok

/usr/lib/libdl.0.dylib seems to be a leftover from earlier versions of
OS X. On my Powerbook, where I did a wipe and clean install of Tiger,
it's a symbolic link to (eventually) /usr/lib/libSystem.dylib, and
IIRC I may have made that link to shut up complaints about the missing
library for software that was compiled before Tiger and reinstalled on
the Powerbook from backups. On my G5, where I upgraded to Tiger, it's
an actual library, with a date of Aug 20 2002.
